Sehat Card Plus in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has introduced a biometric verification system for hospital admissions, which is an important step towards improving healthcare facilities. In the first phase, biometric verification will be required for admissions in all private hospitals. After that, in the second phase, starting from February 15, 2025, admission in government hospitals will also not be possible without biometric verification.

Specifically, for individuals under 18 years of age or elderly individuals who may not be able to undergo biometric verification, admission will be granted based on Form B, identity card, and photo ID. This measure provides convenience for those who may face difficulties in the biometric verification process. This system is crucial for the transparency and improvement of healthcare services.
